Every year, as part of our community outreach programs, we involve students in cleanup activities through our Adopt a Beach, Creek, and road Cleanup Programs. This important project is funded by contributions from the Municipality of Roatan and through the generosity of our local business community, including H.B. Warren, Eldon's, Dale Jackson Construction Company and Carambola Gardens.
YOU CAN HELP MAKE ROATAN CLEANER!
• VOLUNTEER IN THIS YEAR’S CLEANUP!
This year, if we have the resources, we will involve communities such as Punta Gorda, Crawfish Rock, and Mud Hole. The students will be visiting homes in these communities requesting collaboration from community members to deposit their solid waste in the proper containers or sacks instead of dumping trash into creeks, roads and beaches. Small signs with short messages will also be posted to create awareness. WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO JOIN US!
•CHIP IN TO SUPPORT A VOLUNTEER!
FUNDS FOR WATER, GARBAGE BAGS, GARBAGE BINS, MATERIALS FOR SIGNS AND VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS ACTIVITY. Any amount will help and our volunteers appreciate it so much!
